Brody Sweeney founded O’Briens Irish Sandwich Bars in 1988. The Company specialises in made to order sandwiches and Gourmet Coffee, in a contemporary Irish setting, and has become one of Ireland's most visible and successful export brands.

Since the opening of the first Store, Brody and his management team have successfully opened over 300 outlets in Ireland, UK, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, South Africa, Australia and Asia (Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia).
In Ireland there over 110 outlets in every major Town and City.

O’Briens are premier sponsors of the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation, which works with disadvantaged Children in Vietnam and Mongolia.

Brody’s book “Making Bread” was published recently. He is a trustee of DCU and on the board of Paddy Power PLC.

Jay Bourke is one of Ireland's best known restauranteurs, publican, night-club owner and hotelier. The creative energy behind such businesses as Café Bar Deli, Eden, Market Bar, Bodega, Odessa, Sheebeen Chic and Bellinter, Jay is reknowned for being right on the money in knowing what the public want. His business savvy is greatly admired and he recently appeared as joint host of The Mentor on RTE.
