David is the co-founder of online property advertising site, Tepilo. David also runs London-based digital agency, Codegent. In late 2008, David and Sarah Beeny, from Channel 4's Property Ladders, discussed the possibility of creating a joint venture where people could upload their homes for sale and market privately to individuals online and avoid paying agency fees. The site was planned, designed and developed in the first half of 2009 and launched in July and has been a runaway success with 1000s of properties added within the 1st month and 3 accepted offers.

Founded in 2004, Codegent has been quietly building a reputation for creating cutting-edge sites for high-profile clients including: Barclays, BBC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Endemol, Gap, O2, Skechers, TeachersTV, V&A and Youth Music.

At Codegent, David, is primarily responsible for generating new business, client services and the commercial direction of the company. Last year, Codegent’s turnover grew by nearly 70%.

David started his career in 1994 in publishing and held senior marketing roles at The Economist, Financial Times and Pearson Education. In 1999, he joined the Internet Incubator, Brainspark as Marketing Director. After Brainspark, he was marketing director at digital agency, Reading Room.
